Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Regulatory Analyst, Sr to join our team based in Juno Beach, Florida. As a Regulatory Analyst, Sr, you will be in charge of coordinating and ensuring all regulatory requirements are met. You will be responsible for handling various tasks related to regulation and compliance within the energy industry. Responsibilities: • Ensure effective coordination and compliance with all Florida Public Service Commission (FPSC) regulatory requirements. • Plan, coordinate, and prepare all filing requirements/responses in docketed proceedings/un-docketed matters. • Monitor and resolve issues related to National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) safety audit variances reported to the FPSC. • Provide guidance and direction on regulatory matters within and outside the business unit. • Coordinate and prepare responses to state/federal regulatory/legislative actions/proposals. • Identify issues affecting the company and develop/coordinate proposed company strategies/responses for management/legal consideration/approval. • Conduct or participate in special studies and analysis concerning business unit operations and performance. • Coordinate budget preparation and monitor budget performance for the Director of Employee and Customer Support. • Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently and maintain accurate customer credit records. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance and operations • Proficient in planning and implementing procedures • Strong knowledge of planning and budget processes • Proven experience in project management and auditing • Experience in supervising teams and possessing strong leadership skills • Familiarity with finance and engineering concepts • Proven ability in onboarding and staffing processes • Excellent attendance record and ability to resolve issues effectively • Experience in working with suppliers and providing customer support • Proficient in variance analysis and submission processes • Knowledgeable about commission functions and regulations • Comfortable working onsite when required • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Ability to manage and file regulatory documentation • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint • Familiarity with regulatory filing systems • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
