Support with regulatory reporting and to support the organisation in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
Key Peformance Areas
Assist in all reporting across the Financial Services Board FSB the South African Reserve Bank SARB and Group Reporting
The role includes parallel FSB reporting for 2015 Existing reporting and the new Solvency Asset Management requirements
Interaction with stakeholders across the business as well as external stakeholders such as the FSB is required as well as technical delivery of reports and analysis of information and implications for the organisation
The individual will be required to support with source data analysis and report all gaps between current systems and FSB requirements per SAM
Support the objective of ensuring quality of data as required by the FSB
The individual will be required to support on the implementation of a new consolidation regulatory system and support in building the regulatory database from source to feed respective reporting
Qualifications and Experience
CA SA
Minimum of 1 to 2 years post article experience in a reporting role
Advanced Excel Hyperion Financial Management HFM Qlikview JD Edwards and MIS experience an advantage
Experience in Financial Services and/or Regulatory Reporting environment would be an advantage
Knowledge of Short Term Insurance act would be strong recommendation
