What is the opportunity?

This role will make sure all regulatory trade reporting changes are met and conduct User Acceptance Testing to make sure all regulatory change requirements are met.
You will support strategic and business as usual changes that impact derivatives regulatory trade reporting. 

Derivatives Trade Reporting scope : CFTC, CSA, MAS, ASIC, ESMA, and FCA.
Product Knowledge scope: Interest Rates Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, Commodities, Credit Derivatives and Equities Derivatives

What will you do?

Support Regulatory Services Canada team, ensuring compliance of OTC Derivatives regulatory reporting as imposed by various global Regulators by supporting requirements definitions, reviews and user acceptance testing.Regulatory business analyst to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiencies to trade reporting regulations including but not limited to Dodd Frank, EMIR, FCA, CSA, ASIC, MAS and Hong Kong regulatory regimes across OTC Derivatives asset classes namely: Interest Rates, Credit Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, Commodities, and Equity Derivatives.Support Regulatory Requirements for Portfolio Reconciliation ensuring compliance to various regulations i.e. Dodd Frank, SEC.Prepare and consolidate requirements documentation.Perform User Acceptance Testing to ensure portfolio reconciliation and regulatory reporting meets global compliance standards.Perform investigations in Trade Capture system, Porfolio Reconciliation, Trade Reporting and Party Static Data Systems to determine proper course of remediation.Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to closeWork collaboratively with Front Office, Business and Client Services, Compliance, IT, Trading Documentation Team, Project Team and Client Data Management to resolve any regulatory reporting related exceptions.Develop product / market knowledge to ensure daily processes are appropriate to reduce operational risks.

What you need to succeed?

3-5yrs as a Business Analysis and UAT analyst within OTC Trade Reporting Domain.Degree in Corporate Finance / Finance or any related financial coursework.Solid knowledge and experience with at least one of the OTC Derivative products: Interest Rates, Credit Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, Commodities, and Equity DerivativesSolid knowledge and experience with one or more OTC Derivatives Regulatory Reporting jurisdictions: SEC, CFTC, CSA, EMIR, FCA, HKMA, MAS, ASIC, and MIFID.Working understanding of Capital Markets organizational structure (front office sales and trading, middle office, product control, back-office operations, regulatory/compliance, etc.)Working understanding of procedures and operational controls as they relate to systems and work flows.Excellent requirements analysis and documentation skills.Excellent analytical skills to be able to analyze trade reporting issues and ability to perform ad-hoc analysis when needed.Excellent user acceptance testing and analytical skills specifically on OTC Derivatives Trade Reporting domain.Strong understanding of upstream and downstream transaction flow and data integration across various source systems.Ability to multitasks on multiple regulatory workstreams from inception through implementation.Ability to breakdown barriers to success, escalate appropriately to management and business leadership and work collaboratively with peers.
