This role has the opportunity to be on-site, hybrid or remote.

 

Working independently with general supervision, the Regulatory Compliance Principal will be responsible for guiding our Trade Compliance approach through staying current on regulations, identifying the appropriate actions needed to remain or become compliant and submitting appropriate documentation to proper teams and agencies with consistent follow through.

 

A leader that is supportive of peers and employees with strong communication skills who is motivated by developing processes and systems while leading when the path is not already paved will find this position fulfilling.

 

 

Major Position Responsibilities Reviews policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Tracks and interprets laws or regulations impacting the business and offers suggestions to functional managers seeking to ensure compliance. Conducts periodic tests and audits of organizational operations. Conducts initial reviews of alleged compliance violations and escalates to executive leadership as needed. Coordinate local training requirements to ensure that site personnel are aware of their obligations under approved government authorizations and regulations governing their activities. Review and approve foreign national site visits and international business travel.Draft Technical Assistant and Manufacturing License Agreements with our International partnersSubmit License and permit applications for International Export and Import Compliance

Basic Qualifications Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 8-10 years of experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or ExperienceKnowledge, skills & abilities: Ability to work as part of a team. Decision-making skills. Problem management. Oral and written communication skills. Problem/situation analysis. Analytical thinking skills.Critical professional related technical skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree

Knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and Arms Export Control Act (AECA).

 

Physical Demands

Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

Travel

20-25% Travel likely

Pay Range (USD) $93,100.00 - $172,900.00 Benefits Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and basic life insurance as well as pre-tax spending accounts. Employees are also able to enroll in the company's 401k plan and are eligible for the Non-Contributory Retirement Contribution.
