Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Specialist Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to ensure our processes align with industry standards and guidelines. You will manage and maintain regulatory documentation, conduct internal audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance considerations into our fragrance development and production processes. Responsibilities + Ensure compliance with FEMA, IFRA, and FDA regulations. + Utilize regulatory computer systems such as Product Vision or WERCS. + Familiarize with US Labeling Regulations and manage labeling processes. + Author SDS in accordance with Hazcom 2012 US regulations. + Provide information and guidance to internal customers for product development. + Respond to customer requests in a timely manner. + Continuously improve systems for faster and more accurate customer responses. + Review and update technical data in databases. + Conduct internal audits and liaise with external auditors. + Identify and implement opportunities for enhancement in compliance processes. Essential Skills + 3-5 years of regulatory experience within the fragrance industry. + Bachelor's degree in sciences or a relevant field. + Strong understanding of regulatory bodies' guidelines. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Experience with regulatory affairs, submissions, labeling, and documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with FDA regulations. + Proficiency in using WERCS or Product Vision systems. Work Environment Our cutting-edge facility encompasses an entire block and includes Fragrance and Flavors R&D, QC, Culinary, Regulatory, and more all on-site. There is ample room for growth. Currently, the role is 100% on-site during the first shift, with a potential for hybrid work in the future.
