Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Technician
Job Description

The Regulatory Compliance Technician will be responsible for researching and adhering to FDA labeling and compliance laws. This role ensures compliance of raw material documentation, finished product documentation, and finished product packaging with both internal specifications and external regulatory requirements. The Regulatory Compliance Technician will work closely with raw material suppliers to ensure required documentation is current, complete, and meets company standards.

ResponsibilitiesOversee all certifications for products.File all government certifications and minority certifications.Work with major customer portals for updates and document uploads.Produce all customer product specification sheets.Issue all certificates of analysis for customers.Manage document requests.Request all supplier documents.Support packaging quality control and management.Support other members of the QA department as needed, including during PTO.Complete research and stay up to date on regulatory laws and standards.Review sales customer and consumer-facing documents for accuracy and legality, including handouts, presentations, online retail listings, and social media posts.Report any issues that arise with an operator immediately to the Quality Manager.Perform any other tasks as assigned.Essential Skills1-2 years of regulatory/document control experience in GMP, preferably in food and beverage.Attention to detail, good writing and technical comprehension skills.Strong research skills, including expertise in FDA and USDA regulations, certifications, supplier quality measures, and third-party testing.Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing time-sensitive deliverables.Regulatory affairs, food safety, HACCP, quality assurance, and quality control knowledge.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with HACCP/HARPC.Ability to use Google Sheets and Google Forms.Ability to perform basic math to follow recipes for making resin.Legible handwriting.Attention to detail.Ability to communicate regularly via text/SMS. A company phone can be provided.Work Environment

The main office has cubicle-style seating, with 80% of work performed at a desk and 10% away, which includes attending meetings and occasionally checking products on the floor. The environment is fast-paced. The left side of the facility is dedicated to bottling operations with 10-hour shifts, while the right side focuses on automated work with 12-hour shifts.
