The Work You Will Do:
This position is a highly responsible administrative position under the direct supervision of the Senior Management Analyst I - SES in the Division of Real Estate, Operation Support Unit (TIER N) Licensure, License Operations Unit.
•This position serves as the Subject Matter Expert and performs more complex regulatory determinations regarding problem resolution and procedural workflow. This position monitors the more complex applications for unusual processing standards and requirements.
•Assists Senior Management Analyst I - SES with all aspects of effective and efficient operation of the unit, to include training and assisting division staff and testing of process changes to the Operation Support Unit.
•Assists management in preparing and reviewing records and reports pertaining to the operations of the Operation Support Unit.
•Assists management in analyzing processes including interpretation of laws, rules, policies and standards and recommends changes to improve operations, to save time, labor and other costs to improve quality control and operating efficiency.
Your Specific Responsibilities:
•Performs quality checks on applications prepared for board and committee meetings and maintains the respective lists by utilizing Microsoft applications. Prepares the summary of applicant agenda, attends the FREC meeting during the presentation of the agenda.
•Research and processes cancellation and withdrawal requests utilizing the department's document imaging and licensing system; including but not limited to refunds and license certifications. Utilizes Microsoft applications to maintain reports for tracking cancellation and withdrawal requests.
•Represents management in the Division of Real Estate and Operation Support Unit in matters as authorized and assigned.
•Provides exemplary customer service to both internal and external customers when giving directions on application processing requirements.
•Reports events, errors, or trends to supervisor.
•Performs other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Knowledge of application requirements, including Florida Statutes, Division and Department rules, and educational programs.
•Ability to compile, organize and analyze data.
•Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work activities.
•Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently both oral and written.
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
•Ability to conduct basic Internet research and navigation.
•Extensive knowledge of the department's document imaging and licensing systems.
•Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Minimum Requirements :
•Two (2) years of customer service experience.
•Leadership experience.
•One (1) year of Microsoft Office experience and importing and validating documents.
•Valid Driver’s License
Preferred :
Preference will be given to applicants with:
•Proven ability to interpret, analyze and gather information from fingerprints/ criminal background reports, court documents, departmental guidelines, and internet research.
•Proven ability to communicate effectively and efficiently both oral and written.
•Proven ability to conduct basic internet search and navigation.
•Public Speaking Experience
•Knowledge of OnBase and Versa Regulation
