Regulatory Coordinator- Quality & Safety
Overview Expected pay for this position is $36.04 - $42.40/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. POSITION SUMMARY: The Regulatory Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, completing, and monitoring activities necessary to support a robust Quality and Safety program. Is responsible to support continuous regulatory readiness efforts for the facility assigned required to operationalize local corrective action plans and sustain solutions. Works in the Quality and Safety department, as part of the local Quality and Safety team, and works collaboratively with facility leadership, Mission Partners, nursing, medical staff and others within the facility and across the Ministry to assist and engage Mission Partners across the OSF ministry with ensuring continuous regulatory readiness and Mission Partners have the tools and skills needed to achieve zero harm. Assists with the implementation of processes and key initiatives which support strategic patient safety goals and optimal health outcomes, including ministry wide clinical agenda implementation. Develops and maintains relationships with OSF leaders in order to address regulatory and safety gaps and processes that enhance workforce commitment as well as quality, safety, service and financial performance that supports the achievement of strategic safety outcomes for OSF. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a clinical field Experience: 2 years of practice in healthcare area of expertise PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licensure/Certification: Current state license in field of study Patient Safety or Healthcare Quality OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
