About your Team:

IBKR seeks a Regulatory Correspondence Team Lead/Project Manager in our Chicago, Illinois office. This role will report to the Regulatory Correspondence Unit Head and lead a team that broadly helps ensure the firm complies with the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, anti-terrorist financing, sanctions, anti-money laundering, and securities laws and regulations.

 

Responsibilities:

Overseeing a team of Regulatory Correspondence production analysts who research and prepare responsive materials and draft response letters for regulatory and law enforcement inquiries. Ensuring that proposed response materials are timely and fully satisfy the relevant request items. Frequently communicating with regulators and law enforcement officials concerning inquiries and their associated productions. Identifying areas for improvement and streamlining current processes and workflows. Drafting and updating procedures, as necessary.

A strong candidate will have substantial experience handling regulatory compliance matters at a financial services firm or regulator, ideally with knowledge of IBKR systems and processes.


Qualifications:

High fluency with and understanding technology’s application to business and regulatory matters. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Intellectual curiosity and inclination to continually seek the “why” and “how.” Detail-oriented with proven organizational and project management skills.
