Description We are seeking a Regulatory & Document Specialist to join our team in Northfield, Illinois. This specialist will play a pivotal role in the upkeep and precision of food-related documentation and customer relations. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Manage the precise and efficient processing of customer credit applications. • Use Genesis Food Software in managing and documenting food specifics like ingredients, nutritional facts, allergens, etc. • Show proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel in managing and documenting regulatory processes. • Oversee and monitor customer accounts, ensuring appropriate actions are taken when necessary. • Address customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate information. • Ensure the upkeep of accurate customer credit records. • Utilize skills in Dcs, About Time, and Budget Processes in managing regulatory and documentation tasks. • Acquire and apply knowledge in dry/sauce products to ensure accurate documentation and compliance. • Enhance the team's understanding of basic food documentation like specifications, 100g nutritional reports, allergens, etc. Requirements • Proficient knowledge and experience in Dcs • Proven ability in using 'About Time' software • Experience in budget processes, including planning and tracking • Bachelor's degree in a related field • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry • Strong understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in manufacturing • Ability to manage and organize important documents effectively • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in document processing • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
