The Team:
EMEA Regulatory Finance is responsible for ensuring efficient and proactive management of economic and regulatory capital and delivering timely and accurate reporting to regulators across EMEA. The Finance Change team supporting this function provides strategic solutions and day-to-day support services for business users based in Europe, working with the technology teams in London, Dublin and India.
The candidate will join the Finance Change department in London on one of the in-flight major projects in region in the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) space.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with end user teams in London on requirements, business process and all elements of the change delivery lifecycle
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has demonstrable experience on large-scale Finance Change delivery to work on a significant and high profile initiative, with a heavy slant on business process change, stakeholder management and effective communication
What we are looking for:
Experience working within ESG e.g. CSRD, EU Taxonomy
Experience of dealing with large and complex data sets, and performing data gap analysis
Understanding of accounting system flows from front office trade capture through to sub-ledgers, into the General Ledger
Understanding European regulation including COREP, FinRep etc
Understanding of the requisite control processes over Finance data flows
Understanding and experience working on the full suite of Broker-Dealer asset classes
Willingness and ability to be hands-on and proactive in gathering requirements, analysing issues, identifying solutions and testing successful outcomes
Ability to positively drive work forward, collaborate with team members and act with transparency
Detail-focused and structured approach to defining, executing and evidencing deliverables
Ability to operate within a global environment working with stakeholders from multiple locations and time zones
Experience in identifying and managing the risks, issues and dependencies inherent in delivering complex regulatory change processes
