Description The Regulatory Reporting team currently has an opening for a Regulatory Reporting Senior. This highly visible position will be integral to the monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reporting process. While the initial focus of this position will be on the completion and improvement of the FR Y-14Q, there will be ample opportunity to learn and execute on other regulatory schedules, including the Call Report, FR Y-9C, FR2644 and FR Y-14M, among others. The candidate will perform several tasks supporting the regulatory reporting submission(s) including but not limited to: + Complete quality assurance and validation of the data submission(s) + Ensure conformance with report instructions + Maintain proper control documentation + Create clean and accurate documentation of reported numbers and supporting conclusions made from required guidance + Monitor conformance with instruction updates and FAQ/Q&As issued from the FRB to assist in ensuring changes are implemented accurately and in a timely manner + Build and perform reconciliations to support data validity + Analyze results and provide insightful detail to management regarding trends and fluctuations + Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent reporting across reports and schedules Outside of the scheduled report production and validation, the candidate will also be required to perform data analysis to target potential data improvements, process enhancements and opportunities for automation or other efficiencies. Constant collaboration with our partners, in Technology and the Business, to build positive and productive relationships will be expected, as well. The candidate will also be expected to adhere to departmental policies and procedures to maintain a controlled reporting environment. Aiding fellow colleagues and performing ad hoc requests from management will also be required. Core Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field + Minimum of 3 years of experience in at least one of the following: Consumer Loans, Regulatory Reporting, Accounting or Finance Preferred Qualifications: + High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook) + Familiarity with General Ledger, Loan Origination systems, Loan Servicing systems, regulatory reporting and/or banking regulations is preferred + Experience with SAS, Tableau or other data analytic tools is a plus + Articulate oral and written communication skills + Robust analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities + Demonstrated ability to build and maintain partnerships + Ability to multi-task successfully and excel in team-oriented as well as individually driven assignments Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay) Yes Workplace Type: Office Our Approach to Office Workplace Type Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
