We are looking for a Regulatory Risk Manager to be responsible to lead the development of risk mitigation strategies across the portfolio.
In this role you will consult regulatory affairs managers, marketing etc. to identify the most appropriate mitigation measures. This accompanies the development of regulatory risk management policies that impact the business and ensures BASF is well positioned in this regard.
If you...
Possess a degree in agronomy, chemistry, toxicology, eco-toxicology, or environmental sciences Possess a BS degree in an appropriate discipline with over 10 years of experience in agricultural chemical registrations. Or have MS degree with 7-10 years of experience in agricultural chemical registrations or PhD with 2 – 5 years of agricultural chemical registrations experience. Have in-depth knowledge of agronomy and agricultural practices.Have in-depth understanding of registration processes and procedures and the development processes. Have worked with regulatory teams to register new active ingredients or add new uses.Have proven ability interacting with and influencing regulatory agencies. Have history of presenting regulatory topics or scientific data to various audiences and regulatory agencies.Have knowledge of risk management measures for both human health and environmental risk, including endangered species assessments. Are familiar with the agricultural industry, US and Canadian regulations and policies, and emerging regulatory issues.Have strong project management skills, including the ability to lead without authority. Good organizational skills and good teamwork skills.Are able to travel 5-10% domestically
