Regulatory Specialist
Job Title: Regulatory Specialist Job Description Ensure compliance of products with regulations and maintain technical documents related to product formulas and finished products. Serve as a subject matter expert for internal customers on interpreting regulations, and provide information and guidance to address customer needs in the development of products by maintaining product information databases. Provide technical information to customers and keep up-to-date knowledge of the principles set forth in the food regulations for core technologies, ingredient categories, and associated regulatory agencies. Responsibilities + Assure compliance of products with regulations. + Maintain technical documents related to product formulas and finished products. + Act as a subject matter expert for internal customers on interpreting regulations. + Provide information and guidance to address customer needs in the development of products. + Maintain product information databases. + Provide technical information to customers. + Stay up-to-date with principles set forth in the food regulations for core technologies, ingredient categories, and associated regulatory agencies. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in a science discipline (Food Science, Chemistry or related). + Attention to detail. + Knowledge of food composition and chemistry. + Regulatory knowledge. + Quality assurance experience. + Food science expertise. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 0-3 years of regulatory experience. + BS in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition, or related science degree. + Interpersonal skills. + Ability to review, interpret, and summarize technical information. Work Environment Business professional environment. Standard business hours from Monday to Friday.
