Job DescriptionRepresent regulatory at project team meetingsAssemble registration dossiers, state tonnage fee reports, and submit to the statesReview labels for AAFCO and FDA compliance and track changesDistribute commercial feed sample test reports to R&DSubmit regulatory contact reportsDevelop SOPs for regulatory processesMaintain product lists (new, updated, and discontinued)Assist in company communications with state AAFCO officialsTrack and assist with APHIS approval lettersFollow up internally with states on label issues and registration questionsProvide documentation support for international registrationsFile regulatory FOIA requestsMonitor and track regulatory changes and trends for domestic and international registrationsSupport PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) – raw material specification and ISGA approval and verification of terminologyAssist with product recallsSupport Director of Regulatory Affairs on an as-needed basisEssential SkillsBachelor’s degree in a scientific field of study1-4 years of regulatory experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work with outside regulatory agenciesStrong attention to detailStrong organizational skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsDemonstrated regulatory experience in the Consumer Products industryPrior experience with the pet food industryExperience with consumer packaging claimsDesire to progress to more Sr. roles within the regulatory functionWorking knowledge of government regulatory structure and processes
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
