Rehab Aide

 

Position Summary:

Performs various non-clinical support activities under the direction of a registered Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant.

 

Responsibilities:

Responsible for preparing treatment areas and equipment Prepares patients for treatment Monitors and maintains therapy supplies Involved in scheduling and documentation Takes patient vital signs for therapy record Works under immediate supervision Performs other related duties as assigned Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned

 

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) strongly preferred 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified preferred BLS Required.  Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver or KH BLS within 60 days of hire

 

Working Conditions:

Must be able to lift and move up to 35lbs Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position Typical equipment used in a clinical job Must be able to stoop, crouch, or bend Must be able to push, pull, or transport heavy equipment Must be able to assist in patient transfer
