Job DescriptionNorco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Rehab Coordinator position. The Rehab Coordinator is responsible for coordination of all Rehab team equipment set-ups and staff scheduling as directed. The Rehab Coordinator acts as a liaison between Norco ATPs, Rehab Specialist and Technicians, and their customers and referral sources to trouble shoot questions and problems and assure excellent communication is maintained. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate team schedules and patient set-ups, answer and route rehab staff/patient communicationsSchedule rehab staff to optimize workflowsWork with patients, physicians, therapists and referral sources to optimize the equipment needs for customersUnderstand payer requirements for equipment and be able to clearly communicate them to customersPerform insurance verification and obtain necessary documentation for equipment coverageStay well informed of industry updates and Medicare changes, particularly those related to rehabAssist with rehab sales support and in-services within a defined region, as necessaryAssist customer service staff to coordinate rehab related dischargesPerform other tasks as assigned or necessaryQualificationsHigh School graduate or equivalent.
