GENERAL SUMMARY AND PURPOSE:
Responsible for the development, communication, and successful execution of established objectives (financial and non-financial), inpatient therapies in Eastern Oregon, and outside contracted therapies sites as articulated through the health system structure. Responsible for strategic and tactical plans, system and departmental business plans, and day-to-day operations. May require travel between SAHS sites.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in rehabilitation (PT, OT, SLP). Master’s Degree Preferred.
Current, unencumbered rehabilitation therapist license in Idaho (PT, OT SLP) required with an ability to obtain Oregon licensure within 90 days. Minimum 4 years clinical experience. Minimum 5 years supervisory/management experience. 10 years in line (clinical/technical/business) or staff function supervisory role; input to budget and lead role in PM responsibilities.

Analyzes competitive health care environment and develops and implements strategic recommendations for improved market share in dynamic and rapidly changing industry. Facilitates and manages team performance to the established performance levels by the effective use of Total Quality, Human Resources, and financial skills, techniques, and communications. Establishes and maintains positive and productive working relationships.
Develops strategic and tactical plans in alignment with established planning process. Builds effective relationships with physicians and administrators. May have dual responsibility for system and local site operations. Demonstrated team, analysis, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Extensive knowledge of legal, regulatory, ethical, managerial, organizational requirements, principles and standards of care for clinically integrated networks and health systems.
