Full-Time Rehabilitation Aide at UPMC Muncy

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Are you passionate about making a difference in patients’ lives? UPMC Muncy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Aide to join our dynamic team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with our licensed clinical staff, including Occupational Therapists (OT), Physical Therapists (PT), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA), and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA).

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care Support: Assist in providing patient care under the direct supervision of licensed clinical staff, ensuring adherence to state practice acts. Clinical and Clerical Duties: Perform clerical tasks such as daily logs, patient registration, filing charges, and scheduling appointments. Medical Supplies Management: Maintain and inventory medical supplies, assisting with orders as needed. Patient Transport: Safely and courteously transport patients using prescribed vehicles. Training Assistance: Help train therapy volunteers and newly hired aides. Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure patient safety, maintain a clean work area, and adhere to safety protocols. Communication: Notify healthcare team members of patient whereabouts and assist with patient activities as directed. Documentation: Accurately document patient activities, exercises, and outcomes.

Qualifications:
