The Rehabilitation Services Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients or clients receiving services in the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute. Ensuring the check-in process, department records and demographic information is complete and accurate. Schedules appointments for future visits.Key Position Details:
Entry level positionPosition details: Front desk receptionist/administrative workTraveling/Resource position: Driving is required to different site locations to cover front desk – cover PTO, LOA’s and sick calls.All site locations are in the South/East Regions of the Twin CitiesSchedule will come out 6 weeks in advanceTravel/mileage reimbursements when driving to location sites, and extra $1 on top base pay the first year startingFluctuating start & end times to working shift hours between 6:30a – 6:30p M-FJob Description:
Principle Responsibilities
SchedulingSchedules and/or reschedules patient appointments, procedures, diagnostic tests and other related appointments.Enters all scheduling documentation in the electronic medical record.Registers patients, verifies insurance and obtains prior authorizations as needed.Creates, deletes and modifys schedule versions and calendars to reflect changes in Therapist schedules.Arranges interpreter services for patients as needed.Administrative department supportProvides department reception, patient check-in and telephone coverage, routing messages accordingly.Organizes and maintains department records, manuals and patient education materials.Participates in completion of patient data reporting requirements and compliance with regulatory standards.Creates and maintains all training materials for new and current employees.Assists physicians with reimbursements/expense reports, physician credentialing, charge capture and medical records.Provide department supportMaintains governmental payor logs, including faxing.Updates patient charts.Assists department with sending email communication related to initial patient assessments.Chart preparationAnalyzes patient records to determine if outside documents are needed.Contacts document source, obtains records, scans and index into the electronic medical record.Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $21.55 to $29.35 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.Benefit Summary
