Reinsurance Underwriter Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Reinsurance Underwriter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating potential customers, analyzing data, and preparing insurance quotes. Responsibilities + Gather background information on potential customers from proposal forms. + Use company records to check the current number of in-force policies for similar levels of risk. + Analyze relevant data using appropriate software to determine whether the level of risk is acceptable. + Write quotes for insurance and determine the premiums payable. + Prepare the terms and conditions of insurance policies. + Liaise with insurance brokers or communicate directly with customers.
