Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Reinsurance Underwriter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating potential customers, analyzing data, and preparing insurance quotes. Responsibilities
+ Gather background information on potential customers from proposal forms.
+ Use company records to check the current number of in-force policies for similar levels of risk.
+ Analyze relevant data using appropriate software to determine whether the level of risk is acceptable.
+ Write quotes for insurance and determine the premiums payable.
+ Prepare the terms and conditions of insurance policies.
+ Liaise with insurance brokers or communicate directly with customers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in reinsurance underwriting and retrocession management.
+ Ability to prepare analyses and collaborate with insurance companies in product development.
+ Provide support to insurance companies, retrocessionaires, and brokers in claims handling.
+ Contribute to risk identification and risk management within the reinsurance department.
+ Plan and implement marketing strategies for reinsurance and other services.
+ Develop business relationships with current and new partners, including attending conferences and visiting partners.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $62.00/hr.
