About This Job
The Small Business Banking Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of business banking clients. This role involves developing strong relationships with business owners, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored banking solutions. The primary goal is to drive business growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to cross-sell banking products and services.Responsibilities:
Grow and manage a portfolio of small business deposit accountsBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective business banking clientsAct as key point of contact for the small business ownerGenerate new business calling on customer requests for information, setting phone appointments, making outbound calls, opening new accounts, following up for funding on new accounts, and cross-selling other bank productsRetain existing business by handling rate negotiations and addressing customer’s needs to add valueLeverages reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and successfully convert sales opportunitiesCustomer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutionsHandle incoming phone calls, and service existing customersWork with others on the Small Business Team to ensure fast and efficient processing of accountsManage risk and ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations to drive quality for new and/or existing relationshipsResponsible to meet individual assigned sales goals for deposits, fee income, and customer service satisfactionOther duties as assigned from time to time by direct supervisorRequirements:
