Relationship Manager

Insight Global is hiring a Relationship Manager to join the Washington D.C. Commercial Real Estate team of one of our commercial banking clients. This is a full-time opportunity taking place remote for the majority of the position (with occasional visits to the D.C. office).
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of commercial real estate loans and depository relationships. You will identify potential lending opportunities and cross-sell Bank products. Your duties will include underwriting new lending transaction proposals and will oversee commercial lending deals from inception to loan closing. You will prepare transaction proposals for approval and present them to the appropriate authorities as per the Credit Policy.
You will coordinate all credit functions (including: Deal Screens, Term Sheets, and CAMs) with the CRE and Credit Risk Management departments. Other responsibilities may include: negotiating with borrowers, completing loan documentation, and ensuring successful loan closings will be key aspects of your role. You will also work with both internal and external legal counsel on new transaction documents and periodic deal amendments. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the D.C. commercial real estate market and has a working business network/book of business to bring with them into this position.
