Kforce has a client that is seeking a Release and Defect Analyst in Greenwood Village, CO. Overview: The PCDS Release and Fallout Management team sits within the broader APS Provisioning, Connectivity, and Digital Services portfolio and focuses on CPE firmware release tracking, defect resolution lifecycle, and all associated CPE data analytics across residential and SMB Internet. Our team helps with release and defect management within our operations customer premise equipment engineering teams. This role will be working across different functional areas coordinating defect ticket activities and serve as primary point of contact between Operations and our cross-functional partners: Engineering, Product, and Release Management. To achieve success in this role, the defect manager will drive resolution, prioritization, and updates for customer and non-customer impacting defects. Additionally, this role will plan, organizes, facilitates, and communicates activities to promote software releases between test environments and into the production environment. Key Tasks: * Release and Defect Analyst provides coordination between the application and test teams and ensures that a structured approach to risk assessment and business impact is employed * Responsible for maintaining and providing continuous improvement of the Release Management (RM) processes, working methods, and tools * Assists the Senior Release Analyst with onboarding and training activities as delegated * Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience * Responsible for day-to-day oversight of adherence and to drive improved efficiency and effectiveness of the Release Management (RM) processes, policies, and procedures
