Your role and responsibilities
In this role you will be part of the Ports business line within ABB's Marine and Ports division that is specialized in advanced automation and information systems for all types of container and bulk cargo handling cranes, as well as OCR and electrical systems for container terminals. We offer you an international and dynamic working environment where our business delivers advanced technology in large projects across the world in a customer oriented and highly globalized industry.As a member of the system design department, you will be responsible for driving the system release train, ensuring content and interoperability of our products while continuously improving our overall test strategy and test automation. Your responsibilities:• Drive the system release train according to best practices in CI/CD consisting of automation solutions and products.• Develop and maintain system test environment and including automated deployment and test suite by leading test automation engineers.• Function as gate keeper in receiving products into the system releases.• Project management of system releases and coordination with departments and teams’ deliveries.• Pursuing ideas for technological innovation in continuous integration and delivery and sharing expertise in the organization.• Expanding your knowledge base of best practices in continuous delivery and system verification.
Qualifications for the roleMasters’ degree in automation, computer science, robotics, physics, mechatronics, or other relevant engineering and science domain.Good understanding of product- and software development in the industrial automation domain.Experience working with continuous integration and continuous delivery.Experience in test engineering and test automation.A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and effective communication skills.A prominent level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about innovative technologies.
