Overview

Use your experience in manufacturing operations analysis, software distribution, and business systems to support the management of software licenses and material component configurations in our SAP HANA ERP system. Utilizing other business functions, you will ensure that Esri’s materials are accurately and reliably configured in SAP, produced, inventoried, distributed, and supported.

Responsibilities

Provide business system and application analysis in support of Esri material configuration control, software licensing workflows, and software distribution schemes Manage and/or support multiple aspects of the Esri product release process Provide leadership and support for new product sales opportunities or for new business system enhancements and upgrades Establish and configure all materials in SAP HANA including creation of material numbers, bills of materials, sales builds, routings, and licenses Develop and provide reports that may reflect production and/or sales activities Oversee project assignments that support the Global Operations team and other departments Create and maintain product catalogs Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Software Productization, License Entitlements Configuration, and Onboarding of Products through Acquisitions and Sales Channels through collaborations, technical documents, and product knowledge Elicit Product Licensing requirements from multiple sources using interviews, document analysis, product plans, business process descriptions, use cases, and business analysis to reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract general understanding from low-level information, and collaborate with requestors on meaningful solutions Proactively communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams such as product management, planning, customer service, and technical teams to coordinate product release Plan and execute back-office product configurations of product licenses and entitlements Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions and how they will successfully execute their plans Participate in Continuous Improvement efforts to simplify and improve back-office workflows Perform various operational and product support tasks Requirements

2+ years of experience with SAP, an enterprise resource planning system, or comparable data management systems A self-starter willing to take ownership and be able to make things happen with minimal supervision Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highly scheduled environment Strong written and verbal communication skills with collaborators at all levels of the organization Must be detail oriented and able to work effectively in a team environment Familiarity with the standards of technical writing Understanding of product lifecycle management Understanding of License Entitlement Techniques and Management Process-driven analysis skills and background in various requirement discovery methods Ability to understand technical jargon and communicate in layman’s terms Demonstrated experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholders Professional experience with Microsoft Office Suite Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products Bachelor’s in business administration or related field Recommended Qualifications

Knowledge of software license functionality, electronic software distribution, and SaaS Basic knowledge of budgeting and accounting principles Demonstrated professional growth and range of experience Salesforce work experience

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
