Position Title: Release Train Engineer/Scrum Master

Expected Duration: 6+ months contract + Renewable

Pay Range: $45 - $48/hr

Qualifications

8+ years of experience with IT 5+ years of experience with leading Scrum, Agile, or SAFe teams 2+ years of experience in interacting with clients and providing program support across multiple Agile teams Experience with coordinating product development activities across the program or project and developing requirements Experience with providing input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks Experience with evaluating Sprint Reviews and Demos Experience with managing and maintaining a Program Increment backlog Bachelor's degree Experience with Jira, including the use of Jira Dashboards and Advanced Roadmaps Experience with leading Agile transformation efforts and working collaboratively to establish or incrementally improve large solution Agile processes Experience with supporting the IC Experience with software engineering and development Knowledge of Jira and Confluence, including project administration Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering Agile or SAFe Certification, including SAFe Program Consultant Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Responsibilities

Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a key leadership role responsible for driving the Agile Release Trains (ARTs) within the CS&ESS Finance Technology Domain towards successful and timely Develops technical solutions to complex problems Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments as they lead the software development to production effort by conveying the vision to multiple scrum delivery teams, outlining and prioritizing work based on customer requirements and business value Through Program Increment (PI) planning and routine interaction with stakeholders ensuring their interests are included in the release, and the team to ensure the release is developed by the deadline and within budget Responsible for the business aspects of the project, including ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline Working with the Solution Train Engineer, the RTE serves as the scrum delivery teams' primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making Coordinate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery Serve as liaisons between the business owner (the Government customer), the product owner, development teams, and management in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met Ensure that team members understand project objectives Maintain product backlog and release plan and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's sprint goals Preserve flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes Benefits:
