PDS Tech Commercial is looking for an Experienced Systems Engineer to join our Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) Engineering team in Everett, WA. This role is a unique opportunity to shape the future of commercial aviation by enhancing aircraft reliability, maintainability, and lifecycle performance.
 
What You’ll Do:

Apply state-of-the-art modeling, simulation, and data analytics to improve aircraft performance.

Serve as a technical expert, collaborating with diverse engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Define and oversee technical performance measures (TPMs) such as schedule reliability and operational availability.

Conduct failure mode analysis, reliability testing, and maintainability assessments using advanced digital tools.

Work closely with airplane system suppliers, business partners, airline customers, and program leaders to optimize system reliability and efficiency.

What You Bring:
 Required:

Bachelor’s or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.

8+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years in reliability engineering for commercial aviation.

Experience in airplane systems design and engineering analysis.

Proficiency in Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) tools such as CAFTA, ReliaSoft, or FaultTree+.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license

Preferred:

Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).

Strong project planning and execution skills.

Proven technical leadership experience.

 Contract Length: 12 Months
 Location: Everett, WA
 Pay Rate: $65.57 – $82.32 per hour
 Schedule: Monday–Friday, First Shift

Pay Details: $80.46 to $100.93 per hour
