TITLE: Reliability Engineer / Predictive Maintenance and Reliability Lead
Ingredion is hiring a Predictive Maintenance and Reliability Lead, who is responsible for the development, direction, supervision and day to day execution of the site predictive reliability program. The position coordinates training carried out for all Maintenance employees including Safety, Quality, ISO, HACCP, technical, SAP PM and the provincial apprenticeship program.
As a Predictive Maintenance and Reliability Lead, your responsibilities will include:
Providing leadership to evaluate and implement appropriate predictive and preventative maintenance strategies and techniques to reach a world class reliability program.Directing the Predictive Maintenance (PDM) team in their daily activities, outlining equipment and systems to be evaluated using vibration, ultrasonic and thermographic tools.The responsibility and authority to initiate and record actions related to Food Safety.Review PDM analysis results together with the PDM team and liaise with applicable teams to plan remedial / corrective repairs.Continuous Improvement of the Asset Maintenance Plan including value-added preventive maintenance tasks focusing on: utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies, lubrication practices, tools to drive operator asset management, and comprehensive training plans for maintenance employees.Review and update PDM schedules to continuously improve operations uptime and maintenance and equipment efficiencies.Utilize KPI (key performance indicator) system to monitor and identify improvement opportunities in the area of facility reliability and asset utilization.Review major equipment/systems failures using formal investigative tools and develop and implement PM/PDM tasks to minimize or eliminate unplanned failures.Work closely with the Operations Training Coordinator to develop and ensure consistency of training. Develop Standard Repair Procedures (SRP’s) in conjunction with other Maintenance supervisory personnel to continue to improve the uniformity and quality of maintenance repairs. Oversee administration of the apprentice training program.Promote and administer Safety, Health and Environmental programs to comply with corporate standards and regulatory requirements applicable to areas of responsibilities.Optimization of the CMMS (SAP-PM) for planning and scheduling maintenance and material management.Partner with the North America Reliability CI team to learn and apply best practices.The Predictive Maintenance and Reliability Lead position is well-suited for you if you:

Certificate of Qualification in a skilled trade or have graduated as a technician or technologist in a related field, coupled with relevant work experience.Experience with predictive maintenance strategies.Demonstrated strong people skills and an ability to lead, develop and motivate employees and an ability to promote a safe working environment, quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices. Demonstrated ability to trouble shoot, identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings and follow up to measure results gained against expectations and key performance metrics including mean time between failures and overall operational efficiency.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.Excellent organizational skills, along with the ability to deliver results in a demanding, fast paced environment.Results oriented, proven self –starter with the ability to prioritize work appropriately.#LI-NM1
