A Day in the Life...
• Organize, plan, develop, coordinate and direct maintenance and reliability practice improvements in support of the organization’s roadmap to reliability. Effectively manage technical timelines and multiple deliverables with competing deadlines.
• Consults and supports plant level maintenance resources in maintenance and reliability improvements. Supports solving network wide reliability issues; provides subject matter expertise on reliability practices.
• Consult with project engineers on reliability considerations during capital projects.
• Conduct plant site surveys, audits and collaborate with plant maintenance staff to develop inputs for long-range planning.
• Investigate new technology and educate the organization on their potential application in maintenance & reliability. Identify opportunities to support continuous improvement, downtime reduction, asset life extension and throughput improvement.
• Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems that arise from processing food and/or beverage products.
• Execute and manage the corporate-wide fork-truck fleet management program. Facilitate support to sites to address issues and improve lift availability.
• Able to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
What We Are Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree required (engineering degree preferred) • 5+ years of related experience in maintenance / reliability management with demonstrated track record of increasing levels of scope and responsibility • 5+ years of related experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, execution, and repair analysis • 5+ years of related experience in training and development of maintenance / reliability staff • 5+ years of related experience in management, optimization and replenishment of maintenance storerooms • 5+ years of related experience in process improvement including the use of LEAN/six-sigma tools • Experience in implementation of best practices associated with maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution • Familiar with industrial utility systems including ammonia refrigeration, steam generation, HVAC, compressed air, wastewater treatment systems, plant power systems and electrical distribution • Familiar with industrial controls and automation PLC, communication protocols and end-use devices • Knowledge of food safety, GMP, construction and industrial maintenance standards • Must be able to demonstrate independent and critical thinking skills and an ability to drive and influence results • Strong project management, teamwork, problem solving and data management skills • Effectively communicates complex technical information in a clear and concise manner, in both written and verbal forms, to audiences of differing technical understanding • Holds self and others accountable to stated goals and objectives and consistently drives the completion of projects and initiatives within stated timelines. Gains cross functional agreement on accountability to ensure buy-in and execution. Communicates desired results and accountabilities within function in a compelling manner • Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Project, SAP, Maximo and Microsoft office applicationsEducation:
