Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Reliability Engineer to implement and manage predictive maintenance programs, ensuring optimal equipment availability and performance. The ideal candidate will develop and execute lifecycle strategies, foster a reliability culture, and utilize data analysis to identify and counteract potential issues. This role requires collaboration across various departments to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
ResponsibilitiesImplement and manage predictive maintenance programs to ensure equipment availability.Create, implement, and manage lifecycle strategies to ensure equipment availability at optimal cost.Develop the capability of oneself and the team through training to foster a reliability culture.Investigate, learn, and implement new or existing technologies to improve asset performance.Utilize data analysis and customer feedback to identify potential problems and develop countermeasures to reduce impact on Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale, and Environmental (SQCDME) factors.Support facilitation of cross-functional team analysis activities to identify criticality, failure modes, and root causes to improve and sustain asset reliability.Review equipment downtime reporting data to ensure completeness and accuracy.Collaborate and communicate equipment activities with internal and external departments to understand change points and adopt best practices that will improve equipment reliability.Confirm spare parts accuracy and availability to achieve Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time between Failures (MTBF) targets.Support equipment specification design and acceptance to improve MTTR and MTBF characteristics.Essential SkillsExperience in reliability engineering, maintenance, and mechanical engineering.Proficiency in downtime analysis and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct failure analysis.Engineering degree or equivalent experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong customer service attitude.Ability to work weekends, holidays, and during shutdowns.Work Environment
The work environment involves working with an auto Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The candidate needs to have a strong customer service attitude and must be able to work weekends, holidays, and during shutdowns.
