Summary: Seeking a Reliability Engineer with experience in aviation manufacturing and quality/reliability for problem-solving, data analysis, and customer interface.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 5 years in aviation manufacturing with an emphasis on quality/reliability
Familiarity with aerospace quality systems, engineering standards, tools, and protocols
Proficiency with industry tools for organizing, analyzing, and reporting data
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and processes
Bachelor's/Technical and/or advanced degree(s) in engineering or related field is required
Project management experience is required
Training in Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification
Job Responsibilities:
Use problem-solving techniques and data analysis methodologies to resolve reliability risks
Cooperate closely with engineering and manufacturing processes to understand reliability failures/issues and develop mitigation plans
Identify production issues to evaluate and support root cause corrective actions to improve processes and outcomes
Monitor and document production issues and field performance data to identify potential systemic issues affecting customer satisfaction
Collect, document, maintain customer quality, reliability metrics; prepare timely reports
Interface with regulatory agencies and customers
