We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture. **Summary** This role will be responsible for guiding and implementing efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, and controls at the Silica Mine and Helm manufacturing facilities. **Key Responsibilities** + Analyze site maintenance metrics to drive business improvement actions + Support the implementation of the Simplot Mining and Manufacturing Reliability Improvement Initiative. + Develop and manage asset criticality ranking(s). + Work with Maintenance and Operations groups on the preventative Maintenance Optimization program. + Develop and manage Bad Actor and Risk Vulnerability program. + Manage Condition Based Maintenance programs and evaluate / implement technologies for program continuous improvement. + Lead incident investigation regarding asset reliability events. + Support and provide field support for maintenance turnaround inspection work efforts. + Utilize turn around inspection data, PDM data, and code-based inspection data to support turn around planning and work prioritization efforts. + Support the 5-year capital planning process and longer-term capital planning efforts with data from turnaround inspections, PDM technologies and other inspections to assign appropriate priorities and risk ranking for projects. + Develop and support the Reliability Continuous Improvement Initiative with development of annual Continuous Improvement plans. + Improve the Reliability culture by documenting and communicating reliability wins to plant personnel. **Typical Education** + B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Reliability, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering **Relevant Experience** + 5 or more years of demonstrated experienced chemical processing, mining / mineral processing, or other relevant heavy industry preferred. + 5 or more years demonstrated experience in applying or overseeing mechanical integrity and / or reliability programs. + Experience with Phosphate and Ammonia based fertilizer plants is preferred, but not required. + Experience with computerized maintenance management systems. + Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and drive efforts to completion. + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + Strong organizational and planning skills. + Ability to work effectively with people. + Strong desire to learn with a high level of initiative. **Other Information** This position will support our facilities in Helm, CA and Overton, NV. Preferably we would like someone who lives in the local area to one of these two facilities. While supporting both plants, there will be quite a bit of travel between the two locations.
