You will be the Reliability Engineer for the Apache M-TADS/M-PNVS, TSS, and LBFCR programs team. Our team is responsible for developing, coordinating, and conducting technical reliability studies and evaluations to ensure the success of these critical programs.



What You Will Be Doing
As the Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for driving reliability, maintainability, testability, and system safety activities to optimize system performance. You will play a key role in identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance overall system reliability.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and conducting technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts
• Participating in reliability, maintainability, testability, and system safety activities
• Monitoring FRACAS trends to identify areas for improvement and analyzing Fault Isolation Procedures (FIPs) to resolve issues
• Compiling and analyzing performance reports and process control statistics to inform design or software changes
• Performing Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) to identify and mitigate potential failures
• Developing reliability engineering programs to achieve company, customer, and governmental agency reliability objectives

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.
Must be familiar with reliability and maintainability activities for military products.
Possess strong computer skills, including in-depth knowledge of MS Office software.
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills on technical subjects.
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Previous experience with FRACAS and FMECA evaluations for testability activities.
Demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
Good communicator able to work in a team collaboration environment.
Previous Apache experience in MTADS/MPNVS Systems
Experience troubleshooting problems with complex machinery/hardware
Active Secret clearance preferred.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
