About the Position:
This position is responsible for providing support on projects utilizing Goodyear systems and processes. The incumbent seeks solutions to technical problems and conducts work on assigned tasks
Responsibilities:
Develop new innovative products, processes and methods to meet internal and external customer requirements
Gather and analyze data to solve problems. Communicate results to the team.
Serve as a technical liaison for various internal functions, manufacturing facilities and tire manufacturers by providing technical support.
Utilize tools and processes to evaluate products, processes and methods in order to obtain results
Expand technical knowledge and skill development for position specific skills and personal development.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or related field required
Master's Degree in mechanical engineering or related field desired
Experience:
2 years of engineering experience.
Tire development experience desired.
Tire manufacturing experience desired
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to utilize advanced scientific methodologies.
Fundamental understanding of scientific principles.
Ability to form strong working relations with Goodyear associates & customers.
Ability to collaborate & work in a cross functional setting.
Ability to adapt to new challenges.
