Where You Will Work  

Our Henderson mine and mill are an hour drive apart – separated by the Continental Divide and a 15-mile conveyor system (10 miles underground). The Henderson mine is an underground molybdenum mining operation located approximately 42 miles west of Denver and 10 miles west of Empire. It has been in operation since 1976 and today consists of a large block-cave, underground mining complex feeding a concentrator with a current capacity of approximately 32,000 metric tons per day. It can produce approximately 15 million pounds of molybdenum per year. The Henderson mill is located 15 miles west of the mine, between Dillon and Kremmling.  

 

Both sites are surrounded by US Forest Service land of the Arapaho National Forest, making it easy for our employees and their families to enjoy year-round hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing in the area. Description Under general supervision, provides technical advice and guidance for designated Reliability Engineering projects and programs at assigned site. Review, investigate, and develop appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Reliability Engineering projectsWith minimum supervision utilizing new technology to constantly upgrade and improve site safety, efficiencies, cost controls, quality controls and protection of the environmentParticipate with Operations and Maintenance departments and other Engineering staff in problem solving efforts to improve safety, efficiencies, cost controls and protection of the environmentCoordinate project activities with Operations and Maintenance departments to improve equipment maintenance availability and other KPIsEnsure appropriate documentation for assigned projects are prepared and review documentation for accuracyParticipate on small to medium site construction, expansion or modification projectsAdminister contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipmentDevelop working knowledge of local, state and federal regulations appropriate to area of assignmentPerform other duties as requiredQualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related Engineering discipline and three (3) years of related experience in Engineering, ORMaster's degree in related Engineering discipline and two (2) years of related experience in EngineeringKnowledge in probability and statistical analysisKnowledge of the principles and practices of Reliability EngineeringAble to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusionsAbility to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautionsSkilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazardsAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial EngineeringCompletion of Reliability Engineering coursesSMRP or CMRP CertificationSix Sigma experience or Certification

What We Offer You 

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $87,000-$121,000/Annually. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
