Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

We are looking for a Reliability Engineer / Mechanical Design (ADAS) to ensure the robustness and reliability of our products through advanced load analysis, simulations, and validation testing. This role plays a critical part in enhancing product durability and minimizing failure risks while working closely with cross-functional teams and customers.

Load Analysis & Simulation: Define product loads based on use cases, life cycle, and system requirements. Evaluate calculations and simulations to assess the impact on design elements according to critical damage mechanisms.Measurement & Validation: Define and evaluate measurements to determine load capability of design elements. Plan and execute validation tests that simulate real-world conditions, ensuring compliance with standards, customer specifications, and aging laws.Design Support & Reliability Recommendations: Collaborate with design teams by reviewing product designs and providing reliability-based recommendations to enhance robustness and reduce failure risks.Failure Analysis & Risk Management: Define methods for physical failure analysis, support root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions. Coordinate reliability-related activities such as simulations, tests, and analyses.Reporting & Stakeholder Communication: Create detailed reports (in English) and present findings to project teams and customers. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to discuss product reliability, validation outcomes, and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.

Experience: Interest and experience in diverse technical fields, such as electronics, failure analysis methods, and material sciences.

Know How:

Strong analytical skills with a structured and precise working style.Proficiency in technical problem-solving and failure analysis methods.

Languages:

Proficient in English (written and spoken).German is an advantage.

Working Style and Methods:

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Organized and detail-oriented approach to tasks.

Personality:

Effective communication and presentation skills.Open-minded and adaptable to new challenges.
