THE WORK
Sikorsky is seeking to hire a full time Reliability and Maintainability Engineer to support R&M activities for various Aircraft programs across the company.
In this role, you will:
-Perform reliability and maintainability analysis basics, support development of related analysis deliverables in support of the UH/HH-60M Blackhawk and Advanced Design/Concept programs. Analysis types include: R&M predictions and fleet data analysis, Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Trees Analysis (FTA), failure analysis, and corrective action (FRACAS)
-Support development of UH/HH-60M Program production or modification proposals or other development and production programs, including technical and cost volumes and supporting technical analyses.
- Support regular EVMS reporting and schedule management.
- Provide R&M Engr design and Failure Analysis support to assigned IPTs and suppliers.
- Will support and/or lead functional and/or digital transformation projects or represent R&M in larger 1LMX or other transformation projects.
- Support Tools/Methods/Database integration projects across Specialty Engineering within RMS.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college (preferably in an engineering focused discipline) OR equivalent experience/combined education.
Experience with aviation (helicopter or fixed wing) or ground-based vehicle systems design, integration and test. Also acceptable is experience in System Engineering, Safety/Specialty Engineering, Test Engineering, Materials and Processing, Unit/Operating Cost/Affordability, Mass Properties and/or Attributes management.
Experience with Reliability Analysis or data analytics a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Engineering background with good electrical / mechanical understanding; practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting; aviation/helicopter design experience preferred, but not required.
- Reliability, Maintainability, Safety and/or System Engineering analysis experience a plus; Sustainment or Logistics Engineering also acceptable: predictions, FMECA, FTA, O&S cost, RBD analyses
- Data analysis, analytics, reporting; experience with Tableau, MiniTab, Windchill Risk and Reliability, Reliasoft (or similar) desired, not required
- Experience with Sikorsky Aircraft design release process and tools; program management and proposal development processes and tools preferred.
- Aviation maintenance or operations experience (military or civil) a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience developing and delivering presentations to peers as well as management
- Basic EVMS/Project Management
- Experience supporting Sikorsky Proposals, Basis of Estimate (BoE) development
- Ability to obtain a security clearance is desired, but not required.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
