About the Role: We are looking for a Reliability Engineer Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work with product line Engineers in support of manufacturing equipment care within Gore Medical. In this role, you will ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability using the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This computer system-intensive position includes Engineering evaluation of equipment, creation and sustainment of preventative maintenance activities, specialized troubleshooting for equipment repair records, conducting machine and component failure trend analysis, and coordinating equipment commissioning, relocation, and tracking within the EAM CMMS.
This position will be located at our facility in Flagstaff, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.
Responsibilities:
Develop Preventative Maintenance Schedules for manufacturing equipment, including revising accompanying procedures when necessary Drive commissioning and relocation activities to ensure equipment is installed according to user needs, including documentation through the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Work with maintenance associates to facilitate proper documentation of breakdowns; this includes providing technical assistance, specialized troubleshooting, failure analysis, and coordination of impact assessment with product line Engineering and Quality Assurance Be responsible for data-integrity of maintenance activities in EAM, including metrics collection, assessment of maintenance activities, instructions and intervals, equipment risk analysis, machine condition assessments, and useful service-life evaluations Identify and support opportunities to continuously improve Reliability/Maintenance Engineering processes and assess for quality impact  Engage in daily interactions with Process Engineers, Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Monitoring and Control, Industrial Engineers, and Quality Assurance to complete tasks Perform all required tasks in alignment with medical-manufacturing Quality System Work closely with other Shop Services functions to maintain equipment that meets production standards Ensure machine maintainability is considered by participating in design reviews and factory acceptance testing for new equipment
Required Qualifications:
Science Degree, 2-year technical degree, or a minimum of 5 years experience working hands-on in a Computerized Maintenance Management System Efficient software navigation and strong computer aptitude including experience in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to identify and implement solutions to technical problems, independently and in partnership with others Ability to prioritize, plan, and drive multiple projects concurrently to completion against agreed upon timelines and deliverables Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team, including influencing across functions, and building an inclusive environment Demonstrated ability to document, communicate, and present technical work Ability to travel up to 20%
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., EAM) and/or Programming, Equipment Life Cycle experience Experience within medical, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries and quality systems
