The Reliability department is looking for a Reliability Engineering Intern to join their team in Le Sueur, MN!
Position Summary:
The Reliability Engineering Intern at our facility plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and maintainability of Cambria’s assets. This position is responsible for evaluating assets, developing maintenance plans, conducting site acceptance testing, and analyzing data to optimize asset performance and longevity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete and present a capstone project related to department business needs. This will include research, analysis, and presenting the overall findings and suggestions to peers and Cambria Leaders.
Ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified assets within the facility.
Participate in evaluating assets for MRO suppliers and technical maintenance providers.
Assist in commissioning the installation of new assets, developing acceptance tests, and setting inspection criteria.
Perform site acceptance testing to verify functionality and adherence to quality specifications.
Systematically define, develop, and refine maintenance plans to optimize asset reliability.
Utilize predictive technologies such as vibration, ultrasonic, and infrared to analyze measured data.
Contribute to lubrication analysis programs to identify and address reliability issues.
Participate in upgrades and enhancements of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Conduct criticality analysis (CA) by studying downtime, failure reporting, and risk assessment by assets and locations
Perform root-cause and root-cause failure analysis (RCA, RCFA) to identify and resolve defects.
Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience preferred.
Ability to become certified in Chemical Handling and Respirator usage.
Proficiency in English to complete required documentation.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
Demonstrated professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Experience with predictive technologies such as vibration, ultrasonic, and infrared is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings
Lift up to 60 lbs.
Push/pull 100 lbs.
Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
Bend over multiple times throughout shift
Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
Steel toed boots
Hearing Protection
Safety glasses
Cut-proof gloves
Latex gloves
Face shield
High visibility vest
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's program in engineering, statistics, mathematics, or a related program. Expected graduation date of 2025, 2026, and 2027.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year previous experience in manufacturing, maintenance, automation, or similar environments.
Systems: Microsoft Office and Google Applications

Travel Requirements: Limited travel regionally (Eden Prairie, Le Sueur, and Belle Plaine)
Program Dates: May 19, 2025 - August 8, 2025; M-F; 40 hour work week
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 30 lbs.
Stand on feet for extended periods of time
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
Occasionally work in wet and/or humid conditions
Bend over multiple times throughout shift
