You will be the Reliability Engineer for the for the MFC Integrated Product Team (IPT). Our team is responsible for developing, coordinating, and conducting technical reliability analyses, studies, and evaluations of development and production hardware to meet design requirements.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the development of reliable products and systems that meet design requirements. You will work closely with the IPT to access product design and production hardware suppliers, address proposed hardware changes, and resolve production failures.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with engineers to provide inputs, perform analyses, and write reports
• Supporting the development of requirements definition for achievable design characteristics
• Developing, maintaining, and implementing a Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)
• Reviewing suppliers' FRACAS and identifying trends to prioritize failure modes for investigation
• Developing Lessons Learned based on current production and field failures FRACAS
• Participating in Corrective Action Boards (CAB) and Failure Review Boards (FRB)
• Performing and documenting reliability analyses, such as reliability block diagrams, predictions, and reliability trade study prediction analysis
• Recommending design or test methods and statistical process control procedures to achieve required levels of product reliability

Basic Qualifications:
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Reliability predictions of electronic components.
• Failure reporting, trend analysis and corrective action.
• Experience with the FMECA process and analyses.
• Familiar with Reliability development/growth testing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 5 years professional experience working with military products.
• Willing to travel and work overtime as needed.
Desired Skills:
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships.
• Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, technical writing experience, and an ability to perform oral presentations.
• Familiarity with SAP software and Visual Basic Macros.
• Safety engineering knowledge.
• Human Factors Engineering knowledge.
• Quality Engineering knowledge.
• Familiar with engineering drawings/schematics, both mechanical and electronic.
• Experience with Weibull, Reliability growth, and statistical analysis.
• Experience with Reliability role in Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and Failure Review Boards (FRB).
• Ability to compile/analyze performance reports and production/process control statistics.
• Familiar with reliability testing (HALT, ESS, RDGT)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
