Chemours is seeking a **Reliability Engineer** to join our growing **Maintenance and Reliability** team. This position will be available at the **Chabers Works** location in **Deepwater, NJ** and report directly to the **Maintenance and Reliability Manager** . **The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:** + Develop and implement strategies for improving mechanical reliability. + Lead resolution of mechanical equipment failures utilizing high quality Root Cause determination methodology, typically Root Cause Failure Analysis. + Analyze equipment trends, historical data, and uptime data to recommend and justify improvements to obtain lowest life cycle cost. + Determine how process variation and equipment operation can impact equipment reliability. + Develop and implement equipment asset plans using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Risk Based Inspections (RBI), and other reliability techniques. + Develop appropriate equipment maintenance plans to include equipment checks, predictive & preventative maintenance (PPM), critical spare parts, and SAP data utilizing appropriate tools such as criticality assessments and Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA). + Lead preventative maintenance (PM) optimization efforts. + Actively work with the Technology, Maintenance and Production organizations as a role model utilizing, training, and coaching advanced reliability techniques and tools to develop, maintain and drive a reliability culture. + Participate in maintenance and reliability networks and share best practices, successes and failures. + Identify and propose to leadership where external resources could improve site reliability and associated processes. **The following is** **_required_** **for this role:** + BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) + Minimum 3-5 years of work experience.
