Job Description

Our department (Engineering Product Quality, Processes and Methods - EPM) is part of the Electric Solutions (ES) development division of Bosch Home Comfort (HC). Our focus is on the safe and reliable operation of the products over their entire service life. In new product development, we actively help to shape this, e. g. through reliability and engineering methods, technical risk management and reliability verification.

As reliability specialist you will drive the process of designing reliability for heat pumps and its components including the following aspects

With your technical expertise, you will make a significant contribution to the development of heat pumps in interdisciplinary teams and support the selection of suitable suppliers.Establish and maintain broad expertise of heat pump systems, operating behavior and loads as basis for product developmentProvide technical expertise in failure mechanisms of heat pump systems and components and derive reliability test conceptsYou will be responsible for planning and coordinating the testing of heat pumps, taking into account the level of technical innovationUnderstanding of reliability methods and use them their systematic use within the development projectsGovernance of engineering maturity for development projects in Tranås

The position offers the development to the technical lead of the local team in the international department.

QualificationsEnthusiasm: Product reliability is important to you and you want to play an active role in shaping it.Education: You have a successfully completed degree (master/phd) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field of studyKnow-How: Several years of relevant professional experience in the field of thermodynamics, refrigeration technology, materials technology and/or reliability engineering.Working style: You like to work independently and are characterized by a structured way of working as well as very good analytical skills.Personality: You are a team player, a strong communicator and fluent in written and spoken English, and preferrable Swedish or German.
