Reliability/Maintenance Manager

Job Description:

The Reliability Manager is responsible for managing maintenance staff: corrective and preventive engineers and mechanicals ensuring functionality and reliability of machines, equipment and systems; Carrying out inspections on jobs ensuring quality and safety standards in order to be compliant with KPIs. Control financial and overseeing the service to operational shifts 24/7; diagnosing breakdown problems and implementing solutions to reduce the impact to TRS.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field). 

Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Engineering) or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CMRP) is a plus.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment. (Food Industry)

At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, overseeing multidisciplinary teams. Solid Technical background and budget management

Proven track record in managing large-scale projects, improving reliability, and driving operational excellence.

SAP Maintenance Module Expert

Leadership and team building

HACCP and Q&FS standards

Strong knowledge of Lean principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems.

Proficiency in using SAP, data analysis tools, Power BI and Advanced Office

 Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Technical Knowledge in food industry

What will be your key responsibilities?

1. Technical Leadership and Strategy:  Develop and implement reliability plans that support ongoing operations and drive strategy to preserve expertise of technicians and engineersCollaborate with the VST Managers and peers to improve reliability of our operations and processes, minimizing downtime, and managing risk in order to achieve business objectives.Planning and scheduling planned and unplanned work. Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to avoid or mitigate risks that could affect business continuity.2. Team Management and Development:  Be Line Manager of all technicians and Engineers, which includes hiring, training, and personal development.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence within the team. Drive reliability within operations and ensuring lines are running smoothly and efficiently.3. Operational Excellence: Ensure the reliability and efficiency of lines through effective corrective and preventive maintenanceOversee the administrative duties of the team, controlling budget of site and monitor KPIs of the area to be compliant.Lead big data reliability analytics and preventive maintenance compliance acting as the primary contact to give technical support.Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues, keeping maintenance logs and reporting on daily activities.Lead high risk situations, manage crisis shift by shift4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Sponsor initiatives across Value Stream Managers of the organization to ensure leadership excellence and prioritize projects according to the actual needs connecting with Small Minors.Be enabler in PM Pillar and AM implementationPartner with peers to drive 360 strategy aligned to reduce breakdown and maintenance cost.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reliability maintenance, maximize equipment availability and achieve continuous improvement.5. Compliance and Safety:  Be compliant with company policies, programs and plans regarding environmental sustainability and oriented to prevent incidents.Make sure staff follow standards and are certified to workPromote a culture of safety and sustainability within the technical team and across the plant. 6. Budget and Resource Management:  Develop and manage the operating budget of the siteOptimize resource allocation to ensure cost-effective delivery of technical services and projects. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Equipment uptime and reliability metrics aligned to AM/PM.Preventive maintenance on time and budget adherence. Maintenance cost efficiency and reduction in downtime. Employee engagement and development within the technical team. Compliance with Quality, Safety and Environmental standards.
