The position will focus efforts on areas of high criticality with the goal of improving asset health and driving improved reliability processes. The Reliability Technician will be focused on equipment reliability improvements along with other components of the proactive maintenance model that may be assigned as demanded by the needs of the plant and the Corporate Reliability Team. This position will have an integral role in defect detection and elimination. Candidate must be a self-starter willing to accept maintenance process responsibility and KPI results. **Employee Type:** Full time **Location:** PA North East **Job Type:** Production Group **Job Posting Title:** Reliability Technician **Job Description:** + Drive Improvement initiatives by partnering with plant and corporate teams to ensure improvement in equipment uptime and OEE, while reducing annual direct manufacturing expenses. + Develop effective utilization of condition monitoring and other non-destructive testing methodologies (i.e. vibration, thermal imaging, oil analysis, ultrasound, etc.) designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems. + Workflow management including developing and establishing predictive routes, data collection points, and generating follow-up work orders to eliminate identified defects. + Perform and lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Preventive Maintenance Optimization for critical equipment and FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) for unreliable assets based on economic evaluation. + Conduct precision maintenance training for mechanics, operators and other trainers (train the trainer). + Directly supply support and feedback concerning the Planning & Scheduling process. + Work with Planner/Scheduler to develop standard work order tasks(plans) for regularly recurring repair jobs and preventive maintenance tasks. + Deliver technical support to the Engineering Department on the selection of new equipment based on industry codes, standards, required maintenance and best practices. + Train and coach others to build organizational self-sufficiency with continuous improvement methods and tools. + Track and monitor Predictive Maintenance KPIs. + Perform other duties as assigned. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. + Other duties as assigned **EEO Statement:** Winland Foods believes that diversity and inclusion among our teammates is critical to our success as a global company, and we seek to recruit develop, and retain the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool.
