Job Overview The Reliability Technician will be responsible for executing the site reliability initiatives at Charles City. Responsibilities + Collect oil samples per oil sample test plan. Perform oil changes based on results. + Perform routine ultrasonic greasing and collection of data for all critical equipment. + Conduct routine air and nitrogen leak surveys, and oversee all necessary repairs. + Perform routine collection of vibration data for all identified equipment. + Conduct yearly digital thermography of all MCC panels. + Work with Reliability Engineer to collect data in support of conducting failure analyses. + Participate in criticality assessments and FMEAs as required . + Collect data in support of the Mechanical Integrity program, and facilitate required repairs. + Create Notifications and Work Orders in SAP. + Other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Skills + Strong aptitude in the area of mechanical and electrical systems + Working knowledge of Microsoft computer applications within a Windows based environment + High attention to detail Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements + High school diploma + Either has, or is willing to obtain, the following certifications: + Machinery Lubrication Technician 1 + Ultrasonic Level 1 + Basic Vibration Level 1 + Thermography Level 1 + Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma + CMRP Cambrex is committed to providing a safe and productive work environment.
