This position is responsible for supporting the Remarketing team in all phases of the asset protection process and loss mitigation for Volvo Financial Services USA (VFS USA) Trucks, Construction Equipment and Coach Portfolios. This position will be focused on moving assets through the repossession to remarketing process. This role requires a high sense of urgency, organizational skills, energy and multitasking in a fast past environment. This position will have primary responsibilities in Remarketing with flexibility to support other areas of Risk Operations. The individual will work closely with all areas of the business including account resolution, repossession, credit, customer service, end of term, special assets, accounting, sales, legal, titles, and capital market resources. Occasional travel may be required. You will be part of an on-site team in Greensboro reporting to the Remarketing Manager. Core Responsibilities: • Responsible for the completion of operational duties and functions associated with asset disposal • Timely and efficient liquidation and contribute to the planning and strategy to achieve departmental and company goals and objectives • Support the marketing and sale of company owned assets to dealers (domestic or export), auctions, and/or customers • Effectively work with remarketing buyer to ensure funds are received in a timely manner and title/UCC releases are in place • Manage the process to divest assets (pre & post sale phases) • Support all phases of the remarketing process • Process Improvement & Innovation – evaluate processes and results and provide input to management to continuously drive efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness of operations. • Cross functional – professionally represent Remarketing collaborating with internal partners such as VFS Credit, Sales, Syndication, titles, Cash Apps teams and Volvo/Mack/VCE to achieve company goals and objectives • Practice compliance & risk management measures to satisfy legal (state & federal) and VFS policy & procedures to protect the company • Prepare reports, templates, spreadsheets, presentations, and other material to communicate initiatives and Remarketing performance, inclusive of interim and month end reporting • Ensure assets are flowing efficiently from repossession to remarketing and then disposed and released • Support remarketers with any other tasks related to remarketing Volvo, Mack, VCE, and Coach equipment • Support inventory and asset management • Other additional tasks assigned by Remarketing Manager or other members of Risk Operations leadership **Who are you?** Do you dream big? In this role, you will bring: _Education/ Experience:_ _• BA/BS in business or related field preferred and/or equivalent related experienced would be considered_ _• 1-2 years' experience in administrative, remarketing, inventory management, asset recovery, collections or repossession roles within commercial banking, consumer lending, or equipment leasing required, with progressive experience in multiple areas preferred_ _• Proven ability to work in a cross-functional level, supporting other areas of the business and able to work under pressure producing timely work_ _• Effective interpersonal skills with ability to interact favorably with customers, dealers and the sales force to effectively manage accounts and maintain relationships_ _• Negotiation experience and comfort level with handling difficult conversations_ _• Experience in multitasking in a fast-paced environment_ _• Authorization to work in the USA_ _Skills:_ _• Sound knowledge of local, state and federal regulations along with FDCPA guidelines regarding repossessions and remarketing_ _• Continuous improvement mindset will be key to the success of this role_ _• Strong MS Word, Excel and Outlook skills required, experience with all MS Office apps preferred, especially Power Apps_ _• Ability to effectively communicate the necessity of paying Volvo Financial Services as outlined in signed agreements_ _• Effective interpersonal skills with ability to interact favorably with customers, dealers and the sales force_ _• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment_ _• A high level of integrity and a positive customer and quality focus with ability to work within and in support of a team environment_ _• Strong written and verbal communication skills_ _• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred_ _• Self-starter and ability to work individually_ **What’s in it for you?** In addition to being part of a high-performing team in a fast-paced, rewarding environment, our benefits package also includes the following: • Competitive compensation • Generous Earned Time Off (ETO) • 401k plan with generous company match • Health, vision and dental insurance **Ready for the next move?** If you want to make a real impact in your career, Volvo Financial Services is where you want to be.
