Primary Responsibilities

HDR is looking for a passionate and hard-working Remediation Intern to join our Resources Business Group in Denver, Colorado. This candidate will assist the remediation team with various tasks. Responsibilities may include:Understanding and following published environmental sampling methods and standard operating procedures, including company and client specific programs.Involvement in field work in varying capacities including planning, execution, and maintains sampling and analytical records so that they are accurate, legible and on time.Assisting teams with preparing reports, presentations, and summaries of the data relating to chemical analyses.Supporting design teams with calculations or report development.Performs other duties as required.PreferredQualificationsAbility to work well within a team environment, while also being able to work efficiently in an independent role within a group to achieve goals.At least 2 years of schooling completed toward an applicable degree with 3.0 GPA.Specialized skills/experience in an environmental technical area.Knowledgeable with field work and environmental sample collection.Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate environmental science, biology, environmental Engineering or related program Attention to detail Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills Basic Microsoft Office skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
