Production Based Role. Receiving trays of mail from USPS and sorting according to customer bin numbers in an allotted amount of time.
Processing customer payments and exceptions in a timely and accurate manner to customer accounts. This position is located onsite at our Brown Deer, WI officeSchedule: Monday through Friday from 4:00 am to 12:30 pm. [Hours subject to change based on schedules and volume]. Overtime is possible.What you will be doing:Receiving and preparing mail received from US Post Office.Set-up and maintenance activities for the remittance processor and related equipment on a production basisPerforms high speed scanning using machines with Production goals in mindProcesses exception items.Maintains inventory of remittance processing supplies.Prepares outgoing collection notices for negotiable instruments, e.g., bonds, food stamps, foreign items.Other related duties assigned as needed.What you will need:Capacity to lift or move up to 30 poundsConsiderable knowledge of remittance processing and/or Mailroom / Mail sorting activitiesProficient written and oral communication skills in dealing with employees or external customers/clientsKnowledge of the practices, procedures and problem-solving techniques required to verify and distribute computer outputKnowledge of the practices, procedures and problem solving techniques required to process client transactions and produce output through computer operationsKnowledge of the practices, procedures and problem solving techniques involved in item processingKnowledge of client specifications for remittance processingKnowledge of off-line and peripheral equipment operation and maintenanceProficiency to assemble, organize and sequence workKnowledge to identify errors in calculations and balancesAdded Bonus:Experience with high-speed mailing/sorting machinery.What we Offer you:Opportunities to innovate in fintechInclusive and diverse team atmosphereProfessional and personal developmentResources to contribute to your communityCompetitive salary and benefits
