Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Remittance Processor/Mail Extractor to join their team. As a Remittance Processor/Mail Extractor, you will be part of the operations team supporting various departmental functions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Remittance Processor/Mail Extractor

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Pay Range: $23-$24 per hour

Hours: 2nd shift Mon-Wed 2:00 PM -10:30 PM
Sat & Sun 7AM-3:30 PM

What's the Job?

Operating Imaging/Extraction Equipment (iTRAN, IBML, OPEX 7200, OPEX 150) Preparing batches of work by extracting checks and remittances from envelopes Inputting data into the system while following standard operating procedures and customer-specific instructions for processing Verifying negotiability of checks through customer-specific instructions for processing Balancing/reconciling electronic and paper documentation

What's Needed?

Computer savvy, proficient with word and excel.  Great data entry and attention to details. Ability to analyze information to determine accuracy and completeness of work Strong problem-solving skills for conducting non-routine research Proficiency in maintaining site productivity and quality standards Team-oriented mindset to contribute to meeting team goals Commitment to following all customer and bank guidelines related to operations and security
